SUNSARI, Feb 17: Two persons were arrested with a huge quantity of marijuana from Bardanda of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-20.
A team led by Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Area Police Office, Bhishan Babu Rai, nabbed Sandip Kumar Majhi of Kolhabi Municipality-8 in Bara district and Nagendra Raj Shrestha of Chandragiri Municipality-8.

Such a quantity of marijuana was impounded in the course of checking two vehicles (Ba Pra -01-027 Cha 1143) and (BAC 3236). Both the vehicles were heading towards Bishnupaduka of Dharan from Dhankuta on Monday night.
The team confiscated 495 kilograms of marijuana from the vehicle (Bagmati province 01-027 Cha 1143) Majhi was driving and 460 kilograms of marijuana from the vehicle (BAC 3236) Shrestha was driving.
Police have arrested both of them and impounded the vehicles. Further investigation into the case was underway.
