DANG, Jan 25: A police constable serving at the Dang District Police Office has been found dead.
Hari GC, a resident of Rampur in Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City–2, was found deceased, police confirmed.

According to officials, GC had left on his scooter after completing his morning duty on January 22 and had been missing for three days. His scooter was later found abandoned on the road. During a search operation, he was found hanging in a forested area of Ghardoura in Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City–18.
Sources said GC had been under mental stress as his father was undergoing treatment in the ICU at Rapti Academy of Health Sciences in Ghorahi. He was reportedly distressed after his request for leave was denied.
Dang District Police Chief SP Deepak Shrestha said the post-mortem examination has been completed, and the exact cause of death will be determined once GC’s mobile phone is unlocked.
